A wonderful find just down the street from our hotel. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was incredible allowing for us to enjoy our wine and dinner in conversation with another couple. The food lives up to all the hype from the reviews and if you get the chance to stop here you should! Super passionate about their food. My wife and I had the tapas we let them choose for us and shared the pasta special and the tiramisu. I’m glad we chose to visit with them.

We had dinner at Lapillo whilst staying in Sorrento for part of our Honeymoon trip and it was one of the best meals we’ve had. The staff were all really friendly and the food was incredible! I couldn’t recommend this restaurant highly enough!

The owner made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and full of charm. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was truly the best meal of our entire trip. We left with happy hearts and satisfied stomachs. A place we would recommend to anyone visiting!

We would never have found this delightful place without other reviews. A few tables in a covered street seating area. The team were immediately welcoming and charming. The main offering are tapas plates but we decided to share a steak and some fish with a delicious recommended local wine. Tremendous choices. Enjoyed amd would happily return.

Lapillo was one of the restaurants a number of people who stayed at our hotel recommend and was somewhere we hoped to try. If we have a better meal in Sorrento we will do very well. Not a huge restaurant but lovely setting and very friendly staff. The waiter (not sure if he was the owner) told us he’d lived in the UK for 20+ years and was happy to chat. The menu looked great he suggested 2 or 3 small plates As starter or they would double the portion for a main meal. However we both opted for the specials. I had the steak which was so well cooked, it came with some sautéd onions and aubergine, and Laura had the Orzo (as it’s known in the UK) pasta, with a prawn bisque and shell fish. Her face told me how much she enjoyed this. We had a bottle of red wine e recommended by the waiter and shared a tiramisu. Hopefully we’ll be back whilst we’re here. Did t take any photos but other guests did so worth a look.

What a spectacular place. From the outside it looks very unassuming but this was a truly special meal. Every dish was brilliant and the service was brilliant. We explained what sort of wine we liked and he recommended one of the cheaper wines on the menu. I know there are lots of great places to eat in the Sorrento area but this was great.

After a week of pizza and pasta, Lapillo was a refreshing change. We were looked after so well by Pino. We enjoyed tapas followed by delicious Tiramisu. It's recommended that you visit early evening or book ahead as this is a very popular spot, and rightly so.
